Yantosca, Tomasina (Belmonte), of Newton, formerly East Boston, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Robert V. Yantosca.
Devoted mother of John and wife Joanne of Woodlands, Texas, Anthony "Tony" and late wife Jane Dugan-Yantosca of North Haven, Connecticut, and Robert M. and wife Lucia Colella-Yantosca of Watertown.
Dear sister of Louis Belmonte of Saugus, Santillo "Santi" Belmonte of Revere, and the late Anthony "Tony."
Cherished grandmother of Michael, Theresa, Daniel, Alicia, Casey, Kathleen, and Kelsey.
Loving great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor Tomasina's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Thursday, October 29th, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday morning at 8:30 before leaving in procession to Saint Joseph - Saint Lazarus Church, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating her life at 10:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Tomasina being laid to rest with her husband, Robert, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. May they rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the Saint Joseph - Saint Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston, MA 02128.
Lee was a long time parishioner of Saint Joseph - Saint Lazarus Church. She was the president of the Mount Carmel Society for many years. Lee was very active in volunteering at the Don Orione Home in East Boston. She would prepare the alter for and help the priest throughout the Masses.
All services will be held in accordance with Phase-3 of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts phased reopening plan due to COVID-19. Face coverings are required to be worn and social distancing measures are encouraged.
