Palmieri, Filomeno of Saugus formerly of East Boston passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late M. Cristina (Cutillo) Palmieri.
Devoted father of Vincenzo "Vinny" Palmieri and wife Nancy of Saugus.
Dear brother of the late Giuseppe and Carmine Palmieri.
Cherished grandfather of Cristina Palmieri.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Filomeno's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Saturday, September 25th from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Parish, 45 Brooks Street East Boston, for a 12:00 PM mass honoring Filomeno's life. Services will conclude with Filomeno being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery with his beloved wife, Cristina. May they rest in peace.
Filomeno came to the United States and settled in East Boston in 1970. He was an avid gardener and a fabulous chef. He will be missed by all who knew him.
