Edward Ross Forbes of Revere, formerly East Boston, born June 6, 1948, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021.
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Janelle Falgout-Forbes, her wife Aimee, grandsons Julian and Graham, his sister, Valerie Bleak and husband Paul, and six nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents John and Mary Forbes and sister, Ellen DiBarri.
Eddie grew up in East Boston where he developed his love for baseball, boxing, all Boston sports teams and spending time at the local beaches with friends. A born storyteller, we will miss hearing his true and sometimes colorful stories. He attended Boston English High School and shortly after, at the age of 19, he inducted in the U.S. Army. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam - a time that greatly impacted his life.
