Rodriguez, Carmen of Lynn, formerly of the South End of Boston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 74 years of age.
Daughter to the late Sixto Rodriguez and Juanita (Marcial) Rodriguez.
Devoted Mother to Miguel A. Gonzalez, Melvin Gonzalez, Noel Rodriguez, Beatriz Ortiz, and Mirna I. Rodriguez.
Adored Sister to Sixta Rodriguez, Blanca Carrion, Rafael Rodriguez, Ana Celia Rodriguez, and the late Samuel Rodriguez, Catalino Rodriguez, Angela Caban, Martina Acevedo and Luz Rodriguez.
Step Sister to Edwin Rodriguez, Junior Rodriguez, Moncho Rodriguez.
Cherished Grandmother to 11 beautiful and loving grandchildren.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Carmen's life by gathering on Thursday, Sept. 23rd, from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston and then again on Friday morning, Sept. 24th, at the funeral home at 9:00a.m. for a 10:00a.m. prayer service by the family's Pastor of the Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal in our Serenity Chapel. Services will conclude with Carmen being laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery, 501 North Ave, Wakefield, MA.
Carmen was born in Puerto Rico to Sixto and Juanita (Marcial) Rodriguez. Carmen relocated with her family to the South End of Boston and eventually settling in Lynn, in 2011, where she enjoyed being with her loving children and grandchildren, cooking large family meals. Carmen also enjoyed sewing as a housewife and was very involved with her Church, Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal, Chelsea, MA. Carmen will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
