Taylor - John L. of Peabody, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Tuesday June 16th, 2009.
Beloved husband of Donna (Poirier) Taylor.
Devoted father of Stacey Marchand and her husband Bradley, and Nicole
Somers and her husband Fred, all of Peabody.
Dear brother of Maureen Falzone and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury, and
the late Joseph Taylor.
Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Brandon and Hunter.
Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home,
971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday June 19th at
9:00am,
followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating his life in the Sacred Heart Church,
45 Brooks Street, East Boston at
10:00am.
Visiting hours are on Thursday June 18th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
John was born in Chelsea in 1946 to the late William and Gertrude
(McGrath) Taylor. He worked for many years with the MBTA, and was a
member of Carmen's Union Local 589. John passed away
peacefully in the Kindred Hospital in Peabody with his loving family at
his bedside after a
brief illness. He was
63 years of age.
Memorial Donations honoring John's memory may be made to the Sacred
Heart Church, 303 Paris Street, East Boston MA 02128.
The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a
children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front
entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our
3 parking lots. For transportation to the memorial home please call

a John being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elm Street,
