He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Rodriguez - Emanuella (Alfieri) "Lolly" of Chelsea, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Tuesday December 16th, 2008.
Devoted mother of Christian Alfieri of Revere, formerly of East Boston.
Dear sister of Lois Venezia, Lorna Rosa, Diane Annunziata, and Susan Jordan.
Cherished grandmother of James Politano.
Funeral services in the chapel of the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday December 26th at 10:00am.
Visiting hours are prior to the service starting at 8:00am. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Emanuella, or "Lolly" as she was affectionately known, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness.
The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our 3 parking lots. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.
Services will conclude with Lolly being laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
