Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I’ve only gone to rest for a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest a while. As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
Melton - Jennie (Marano) of the North End of Boston, passed away on Friday January 12th, 2007.
Devoted wife of Clarence "Carl" Melton of Boston's North End.
Beloved mother of Joseph Amoroso III and his wife Deborah of Milton, Alice Mitchell of Everett, Ralph Amoroso and his wife Joyce of Boston's North End, and the late baby Carl Melton.
Dear sister of Pasquale "Pat" Marano of Winthrop, and the late Nunzio Marano of Pembroke.
Cherished Nana of Peter and Jon Paul Mitchell, Danielle Hohmann, Lisa Kehoe, and Joseph, Jared, Justin and Jordyn Amoroso.
Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday January16th in the Sacred Heart Church, North Square, North End of Boston at 11:00am.
In accordance with the family wishes, visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to her family.
Jennie was a life-long resident of Boston's North End. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Jennie passed away peacefully at home.
Services will conclude with a private family graveside service in St Michael's Cemetery in Boston.
