IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Pasquale J. Faretra

 February 28, 1953 -

February 17, 2011

AFTER GLOW

I'd like the memory of me

to be a happy one,

I'd like to leave an afterglow

of smiles when life is done.

I'd like to leave an echo

whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times

and bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who grieve,

to dry before the sun

Of happy memories that I leave

When life is done.

Pasquale, or 'Yanno' as he was affectionately known by many, was born in Boston in 1953. He grew up in East Boston before settling in Peabody. Yanno loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren, he also enjoyed playing cards and a good round of Golf which he was alway's at the top of his game. He was always the life of the party, enjoying time with his friends at every chance he had. He will be missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him. Yanno passed away peacefully in the Salem Hospital on Thursday surrounded by his loving family. Rest in peace my friend.
