DeSimone - Mario of Saugus, formerly of Revere, passed away on Tuesday December 29th, 2009.
Beloved husband of the late Angela (DiLauro) DeSimone.
Devoted father of Gaetano "Danny" DeSimone and his wife Lisa of Saugus, Alfonsina Nardone and her husband Stephen of Wakefield, and Diana Serra and her husband David of Saugus.
Dear brother of Carlo DeSimone and his wife Silvia of Italy, and Antonio DeSimone and his wife Lina of Revere.
Cherished grandfather of Krystle, Christopher, Mario, Donnella, Angelina, Francesca, David, Antonia and Sabryna.
Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday January 2nd at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mario's life in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett at 10:00am
Visiting hours are on Friday January 1st from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Mario was born in
Italy in 1943 to the late Gaetano and Alfonsina (Buonopane) DeSimone. He
founded M&S Remodeling of Revere and was a Master at his trade. Mario
then opened for his family La Vita Mia Restaurant in Saugus, which is
one of the North Shore's premier Italian Restaurants managed by his son
Danny. He was a past member Madonna Maria SS Addolorata. Mario passed
away peacefully in his home on Tuesday morning surrounded by his loving
family after a brief illness. He was 66 years of age.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a
children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front

Services will conclude with Mario being laid to rest in
