We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;

Bakunowicz -  Anton of East Boston, passed away on Thursday September 10th, 2009.

Beloved husband of over 59 years to Livercina (Dos Santos) Bakunowicz.

Devoted father of Ronny Bakunowicz of East Boston, Paul Bakunowicz and his wife Marie of Florida, Stan Bakunowicz of Revere, and Sonia Santilli and her husband Pat of East Boston.

Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Dante and Paul Jr.

In accordance with Mr. Bakunowicz's wishes, funeral services are private.
 

Anton was born in Poland in 1925 to the late Semen and Nadia Bakunowicz. Upon coming to the United States he settled in Brockton before moving to East Boston over 25 years ago. He worked as a machinist for many years. Anton passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his home on Thursday morning after a brief illness. He was 84 years of age.
