Analoro - Mary A. (Bottaro) of East Boston passed away on Wednesday May 19th, 2010.
Devoted mother of Theresa Arangio and her husband James of Windham N.H., and Debra Analoro of East Boston.
Former wife of Camelo Analoro.
Dear sister of the late Anthony Bottaro, Rose Forlani, Josephine Butler and George Bottaro.
Cherished sister-in-law of Mary Bottaro of Saugus.
Loving grandmother of Christine Vasilaidis and her husband Peter, Jennifer Papasodoro and her husband Michael, James Arangio and his wife Julie, and Michael J Arangio.
Adored great grandmother of Nicholas, Julia, Samuel and Olivia. Also survived by her many fond nieces and nephews, and her two dearest friends Marie DiLorenzo and Bonnie Fallon.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday May 24th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Mary's life in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Visiting hours are on Sunday May 23rd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
Mary was born in Boston in 1922 to the late Frank and Theresa (Barber) Bottaro and was a life-long resident of East Boston. She worked for many years as a bookbinder for Star Bindery of South Boston and was a past member Courageous Generation, St. Lazarus Parish. Mary passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon with her loving daughters at her bedside in the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield after a brief illness. She was 87 years of age.
The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our 3 parking lots. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.
Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
